LEARNING
WEBS - ABE on-line
You may wish to upgrade to enter college, gain employment or seek a better
job. Learning Webs (Lwebs) offers:
- Upgrading math & English to Grade 12;
- Assignments & quizzes on-line;
- College assessment placement;
- Keyboarding, word processing, Internet, E-mail & attachments
On-site college instructor with experience teaching First Nation learners:
- Encourages discussion that expands world vision & perspective on
topics such as historical context of First Nations' education;
- Takes students on campus tours to ease stress & confusion at college
entry;
- Coordinates e-mail/bulletin board communication with Australian Aborigines;
- Assists students with goal-setting & encourages progress to self-defined
goals

Eligibility
- First Nation ancestry;
- 19 years of age by Dec. 31st
- No active addictions
- Not in personal crises
Established financial support:
- Active Employment Insurance claim;
- Family/spouse support;
- Social/Income Assistance;
- Self-employed;
- Full/part-time work that does not interfere with class;
- Attend Program Orientation & interview with manager & instructor
