Songhees Taxation Thank You Service Providers & Associations
	Service Providers   The British Columbia Assessment Authority is contracted to provide property assessment services in accordance with The Songhees Nation Property Assessment Bylaw PR-95-01.   The View Royal Fire Department provides Fire Protection Services to our residents in accordance with our Fire Prevention Bylaw No 01-1998.   The Capital Regional District provides Sewer and Water service and through our annual requisition we contribute to many projects in the region.   Greater Victoria Public Library - A subsidy is provided to our residents who wish to purchase an annual library card.   Police Service is provided by the RCMP West Shore Detachment .  Through the RCMP's Aboriginal Policing Initiative, a Constable is stationed in our community.   Capital Regional Hospital District - We contribute annually to the CRD Hospital District.     Associations   Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of BC represent the interests of those who work in the area of First Nation Financial Management and Administration and assists members in ensuring their communities sound financial management. The First Nations Tax Administrator's Association meets annually to discuss issues facing Tax Administrators across Canada. The Songhees Ratepayer's Association is an association of Tax payers on the Songhees Reserve. Their executive meets quarterly with Chief and Council. The Lekwammen Homeowner's Association represents the ratepayers who live in the Songhees Retirement Park.
