Russell
was hired as our first Bylaw Enforcement Officer in May of 2006.
His prior experience includes membership in the Squamish Nation
Peacekeepers. Russel is also an Auxiliary Constable with the RCMP.
Russell
is a member of the Squamish Nation and he has family ties to Songhees
Nation. Russell places great importance on his Coast Salish culture
and is an active participant in winter ceremonials.
His
favorite part of the job is meeting new people, especially relatives.
He also enjoys being part of the development of our Bylaw Enforcement
program.

Chrissy
has worked for Songhees Nation since 1995. She worked in our finance
department until 2004 when she was promoted to Property Taxation
Administrator.
She
is a member of the Labrador Metis Nation, and is also proud to trace
her roots to Ireland and Scotland.
Chrissy
is an artist and she enjoys time with family, especially her daughter
Katie.
Chrissy says her favorite part of the job is finding creative ways
for Property Taxation to benefit Songhees Nation.

Renee
has been working for Songhees Nation since 1996. Renee is a Songhees
Band member.
She
is proud of her family tradition of community leadership. Her
late father, John P Albany, was chief of Songhees for 35 years.
John
Albany helped establish the first mobile home parks on the Reserve
which paved the way for our succesful property taxation system.
Renee
enjoys her two grandsons, Blaine and Kalem, and time with her
family. She is an avid pool player.
Renee
says her favorite part of the job is learning new things.
